When are the winners announced?

Approximately two weeks after the hackathon ends.

Who will own the IP of the project?
+

It's 100% yours. You and/or your team retain complete responsibility for your idea and project IP.

How many rounds are there?
+

The hackathon will go as the follows: Round 1: Undergrad (Hustlers Round): Open submission. Round 2: Graduate Vetted projects showcased. Round 3: PhD: Winners finalized and featured.

What is the total value of the prize pool?

Over 1 million dollars.

What is the judging criteria?
+

A variety of factors including product demo and pitch, business viability, AI models used, Solana integrations, potential impact, traction and marketing and innovation (bonus for integrating sponsor solutions and open-sourcing projects).

May I submit multiple projects?
+

Yes, you can submit multiple projects. However, we recommend focusing on a single project, as the hackathon will be highly competitive.

Can existing projects participate in the hackathon?
+

Yes, they'd be able to participate as long as it's not older than 2 months. The judging team reserves the right to deny based on anything they find unsuitable

Do projects have to integrate “Tateified AI”?

No, but real-world utility is encouraged.
